Our centralized compounding pharmacy combines specialized pharmaceutical preparation with a commitment to quality, safety, and personalized patient care.We're looking for detail-oriented, dependable Pharmacy Technicians and experienced Pharmacy Technician Trainees to join our compounding team!In this role, you'll work alongside experienced pharmacists and technicians in our specialized laboratory, preparing customized medications while following established procedures and quality standards.What We're Looking ForActive registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee (REQUIRED)Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-focused environmentPositive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with othersBasic computer and data entry skillsFamiliarity with pharmacy terminology and proceduresAt least six months of pharmacy technician experience preferredCompounding experience is a plus, but not requiredFlexibility to work varying schedules, including Saturdays, as neededKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare compounded medications according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), pharmacist instructions, and applicable regulatory requirementsAccurately measure, mix, package, and label medicationsMaintain clean, organized, and compliant work areasFollow established quality control, safety, and documentation proceduresEnter and maintain accurate prescription and production recordsAssist with inventory management, supplies, and medication ordersWork collaboratively with pharmacists and fellow technicians to maintain an efficient production workflowPerform other pharmacy-related duties as assignedCompensation & BenefitsStarting pay: 18.00–20.00 per hour, depending on certification, qualifications, and relevant experience.Benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible full-time employeesPaid vacation, holidays, and sick leave for eligible full-time employees401(k) with employer matching contributions, subject to plan eligibilityOn-the-job trainingEmployee discounts on products at Peoples Rx retail locationsPhysical RequirementsThis position involves prolonged standing, repetitive hand movements, and handling pharmaceutical materials and equipment.
